…in pictures.
We have had an eventful couple of weeks with Halloween and colder temperatures in full effect.
We caught the scarecrows at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on the very last day!
Seth and I had a pumpkin carving contest (I won), and the girls looked so very lovely as Rapunzel and a butterfly.
Evie thoroughly enjoyed her two and half year old appointment, I attempted delicious new meals, and the leaves took over our yard and deck.
Lila had her first adventure of many to come at the American Girl Store with cousin Anna Kate.
And lastly, I got a clear, beautiful, and heart wrenching reminder that the holidays are coming. While it won't be anywhere near easy with all of the other little reminders sure to come, it will be far and away easier than last year was without my dad. Mr. Tiffany, Mr. Palm Beach, Mr. Bateman, Poppy….whatever you want to call him….the holidays will never be the same if he's not a part of them.
That being said, I'm very hopeful for the months to come. I'm happily starting to get into the spirit and the magic of having two small children this time of year. It truly is magical and exciting.
Stay tuned for our Thanksgiving feast and my take on gift giving in the coming weeks!
Your kids are looking so adorably cute! And it looks like they had so much fun! :-) Can't wait to see what you guys will be doing for Thanksgiving (which isn't celebrated here in Belgium...).

Thank you so much for stopping by Inge! And thank you for your kind words. I just read and commented on your post about the Leo Timmers book. Great post! You really inspired me to share some of our favorites in a post too.
