Holla Hump Day

This week's shout outs go to...

...my doctor on call and very patient friend, Meg. I wonder if Meg knew when she signed up for PA school that there would be hours of working for free involved in her new career path. I should pay her seeing as how she has saved me quite a lot so far in copays for unnecessary visits to my PCP. Yesterday I was pretty sure I needed to go to the ER because something in my stomach was going to rupture. Today I don't feel great, but I do feel much better. Sometimes you just need basic medical advice and someone to whine to right?

...those who decided to throw in their two cents on my Facebook status today about internet service. I learned quite a lot. Most of all I learned Comcast is screwing everyone. Everyone except a select few who either get the right customer service person at the right time on the phone or who live in the "chosen" area with the best deals. I would especially like to thank Erik for talking me through how internet speeds work. Are we noticing a theme here? Apparently I am having a very educational week.

SIDE NOTE
I would also like to thank my FB friends for not making fun of my endless statuses seeking advice on this, that, and everything else. Statuses are always being made fun of on the internet. You may have rolled your eyes like you might at all the kid/pet/food/exercise pictures and updates. That's okay. I totally get it.

...my sweet Lila. She is struggling now with school a little. I think she woke up one day and thought, "wait, this is every day all day?". Instead of losing her mind in the carpool line or not getting dressed for school she just tells me she misses me. She also tells me she doesn't feel like going to school anymore. This is one of the biggest drawbacks of being a stay at home parent with children who have never been in daycare. Once real school starts for your child it's a massive transition. She is handling it like a rockstar, and for this worrier mom that is a blessing.

...those of you who still read this blog after the sporadic and inconsistent posting I did this summer. My youngest went back to school today which means I can finally write that last Isn't She Lovely feature I've been holding onto and many more. A special thank you to the person I interviewed months ago. It's coming soon!
